Who We Are
The Appalachian Aviatrixes are a chapter in the Southeast Section of The International Organization of Women Pilots, The Ninety-Nines. Our members come from diverse backgrounds. They hold many types of pilot certificates, from Student Pilot to Airline Transport Pilot.
What We Do
We strive to promote the advancement of aviation through mutual support, community building, educational opportunities, mentorship, and scholarships.
Mentorship
Using our collective experience to help you succeed
There are many benefits of membership to the Ninety-Nines, but perhaps some of the best are the relationships that you make.
Connecting with aviation professionals and experienced commercial pilots will serve to strengthen the success of your own aviation journey, be it for a career or for pleasure.
Let us know more about your goals and ask us about our mentorship opportunities.
Scholarships
Helping you to achieve your aviation goals
Appalachian Aviatrixes members are eligible for scholarship opportunities at the international level, section level, and here at our chapter level.
Our chapter offers scholarships for both student pilot certificates and advanced certificates and ratings. For more information on current scholarships and requirements, please reach out to us.
